Healthy root stock. Taste is sporty on. Great sizes for cooking, dividing and planting. Rot resistance is good and grows beautiful plants.

I can't speak to the flavor but this ginger smells great. It's really to plant to make alot more for pickling so didn't plan to eat any of this batch except I may try just a tiny piece. The roots came quickly and are nice and moist not dry at all. They'll be going into the dirt tomorrow....so have high hopes for them. Seems planting ones from grocery stores don't often go well....so didn't want to waste money in those...and instead ordered these not being sprayed or retarded from growth.

Several reviews mentioned low to no sprout rate. It took awhile for my ginger to start growing but when it did it grew quickly. I have not had a chance to taste or even smell, but I'm feeling pretty special at the moment to have achieved plants!I put plenty of drainage rocks in the bottom of the plastic tub followed by potting soil. I did not punch holes in the bottom. I water it weekly and spritz the surface every so often. I have one grow light pointed at it for 12-14 hours per day; kept indoors.
