This carpet tape is awesome! I am SO thrilled that it actually works!!For 8 years (!!!), I've had to drag my large living room rug back into place. I'm convinced it has tiny feet that keep moving it far from where it's supposed to be. Until now!• The first day I used the carpet tape, I put a piece about 3 inches long under each corner of the rug. It slowed down the movement, but it did move about an inch that day.• So the second day, I put probably 20 of those 3-inch-long pieces scattered around the underside of the rug, and there has been no movement at all!! I keep watching ... every day ... but nothing. It really works. I'm so relieved. (Look at the picture on the package; they have the tape all along the sides. I probably should have done that, but scattering the pieces works too.)Other points:• The tape is strong and secure. It has the durability of duct tape, except that it's two-sided.• After that first day, I pulled the tape off the underside with no problem. It's secure, but removing it didn't harm the rug in any way.• The package shows the carpet tape used for a rug on non-carpeted flooring. I have it on carpet, and it hasn't damaged the carpet at all. Not sure if that's true for all carpets, but it works perfectly for me.I definitely recommend this carpet tape!!

This works great!!! It stuck to the wall, the vinyl flooring and the carpet in my apartment. I do recommend cleaning the mats/rugs and flooring you want to put it on prior to placing it; my dogs and cats fur get EVERYWHERE which prevented this from sticking at first and just picked up the pet mess. You’ll get best result that way. However, once the prep work is done it does a great job adhering to surfaces and so far it doesn’t leave a residue behind which as a renter is huge! You get a ton of this tape too!

We have a lot of area rugs in our turn of the century home and keeping the rugs in place on our antique original hardwood floors is always a challenge. I find that the rug underlayment pads just don’t do the job, and that can pose a dangerous risk for children, new visitors, and of course, robot vacuums. In the past, I’ve purchased very expensive name brand carpet stick down products, that claimed they would not damage any kind of a floor. Surprise! When we’ve needed to lift up the rugs - sure enough, the carpet stickies had pulled the finish off of our hardwood and ruined it, and in one spot, even managed to pull up a splinter of the wood along with the finish. Heartbreaking. Disappointing. I might even say disillusioning…So I recently found myself needing to get more carpet stickies for the kitchen area rugs, and with the flooring in our kitchen already being in really bad shape (which is why we use area rugs in the kitchen to begin with) plus our kitchen floor is linoleum, so I’m not as worried about the floor having damage…. So I decided to give this carpet tape a try.As I was opening the package, the one thing I noticed it did not come with - was any sort of instructions and/or guarantee of what type of finishes it would work with etc. I didn’t take a star off for this, but I do wish that it had come with some instructions. That being said, i’m proud to say I did figure out how to use this.I noticed that the role is huge. That’s a plus. You will probably never need to buy carpet tape again after buying this role of it. I appreciate how generous the amount is for the price. As I began sticking it to the rug, I did not encounter any issues with it adhering to the rug itself, it seemed to stick on nicely and just as securely as any other more expensive brand that I’ve tried. As for how it stuck to the floor, I felt like it actually has a good balance between being sticky enough to hold the rug in place, but also not so sticky that it will damage the surface underneath. I don’t know that I would trust it not to damage our antique hardwood floors, but probably newer hardwood is more durable and would be OK, or any of the LVP flooring, definitely tile would be fine, etc.Overall, I’d call it a good value and if you need to stick your carpet down, this is probably a good choice although I would recommend using common sense about what kind of flooring you are going to use this on. It’s a reasonable price and worth giving a try.If you made it this far, I hope this review was helpful for you!

Plenty of tape for a couple of rugs I have. Easy to apply between carpet and floor, but seems to stick better to the floor than back of a rug. Still holds rugs in place nicely. If I will have leftovers after rugs I plan to use it to hold felt which I plan to apply to the stairs rails to make it safer for cats to go up and down and to prevent rails from scratches. This double sided tape should work just fine for such application.

I have been using these little triangle sticky things to hold down the rugs in my house, but they never seem to stick real well. I went back to the tape and I have to tell you the tape does the job super well. I like the fact that there’s enough on this role that you can do quite a few rugs. It sticks down hard enough that my robot vacuum doesn’t lift the edges up and the paper on the back is easy enough to peel off. I have had problems with the tape in the past where you couldn’t quite get the backing off of it and it would tear halfway through. This is not the case with this one. It’s very sticky very easy to lay out And snip off with a pair of scissors and you can make it exactly the length you need. I would 100% recommend it!

I have a couple area rugs and runners that constantly shift. My kids end up causing them to shift a bit, but the real culprit is my dog. Every time he runs over them, and especially when he gets the zoomies, the rugs have no hope of staying in place. I've tried corner rug "stickers", but they are no match for my dog. I ordered the Innovation Double Sided Removable Rug Tape in the hope that it would work better. The tape is purported to be "highly adhesive", "super-strong", and have "increased tensile strength." Moreover, it is supposed to be easy to remove and not leave any residue. The good news is that the latter claims appear to be true. It is super easy to remove the tape, and it does not leave any residue. Unfortunately, that's because the adhesive is so weak that it simply refuses to stay on the rug. Even the process of removing the backing paper causes the tape to fall off. You look at the tape funny, and it falls off. Don't recommend.
