I thought there would be a significant difference from the cloudlifter... But no! Nothing bad to say, and I would recommend this over the overpriced cloudlifter everyday.

Works great with a condenser mic but doesn't work well with Sure mics as it generates a higher gain creating background noise if you're using this for a podcast.

my dynamic mic wasn't loud enough and required a preamp. Louder this to give me a little boost. It works just fine

Great little device. Easily a clean +12dB of input gain with no noise introduced. I keep it with my TB mic and may pick up a few more for off-stage announcement and talkback mics!

I got the db boost that they advertised, and it is a well made product. I have getting some high end issues with S's, I am using a Shure SM7B so I think that may have been the issue and not preamp. I only needed it for that mic, so I just eq the problem out of the vocals. It is only an issue with singers, not for an acoustic guitar for example.

Honestly, I did not expect this to perform as well as it does. I got it to use with a Zoom H6, which has pretty noisy preamps (EIN of -120dBu), but it even improves upon my Presonus Studio 26c interface (good preamps, but not the best by today's standards (EIN -125dBu)). The product doesn't feel flimsy, but it doesn't feel particularly sturdy, either. But at $30 (compared to $80 or more for the name brands), I can live with that. However, you should only get this if your audio device has an EIN rating higher than -128dBu (-120dBu, for instance; most modern preamps are REALLY good, though) or it doesn't have enough amplification for your dynamic mic of choice (keep in mind this won't work with a condenser).Definitely worth the price for the performance.

Me parece de boa qualidade. O mais importante, funciona.

The unit did boost the signal, but came with a very noticeable electrical hum making the product virtually useless while using a sm7b mic and 3rd Gen Scarlett 2i2. Checked all cables and they were fine. Ended up buying a used cloudlifter which has performed perfectly. You get what you pay for unfortunately. I returned the product without troubles which I do have to give credit for. I don't recommend this product.

La verdad es la primera vez que tengo un dispositivo de estos pero me funciona súper bien, la estoy trabajando con un interfaz de Arturia minifuse y con un micrófono shure SM7B, realmente se nota el cambio y me arroja una salida muy limpia

gives my røde procasters gain stage that boost to bring it to mic level to be heard.participants in conference meetings always tell me that i sound as if i were in a professional radio station booth, and im convinced i'm getting enough clean gain to the mic to provide that warmth to the sound of my voice.much less expensive than the competition and the gain is still 100% pristine. what's good is that it doesn't pass thru phantom power from your interface to the dynamic mic, so you can rest easy that you won't cause undue interference to your microphone.be wary, the way these devices work is that they need phantom power from your interface, and they plug into dynamic mics which don't play nice w phantom power, so that's what i mean when i say they don't pass thru; they take the interface which applies the phantom power, but then is given to the manayo (mic activator/preamp) which passes thru gain without sending phantom power to the mic itself.there are a lot of butting heads about if phantom power damages dynamic mics, but i just act like they do, so im not going to test it.

To put some perspective on my review...I am a new podcaster and currently, I used a Shure SM58 beta with a lynx xlr cable connected to the Behringer U-Phoria UMC204HD digital interface. This digital interface had to be turned up to near %80 gain to get the mic to where I wanted it, but of course with noise and that is of course is not a good thing. So what is a poor guy to do? Well, start looking for an inline preamp...Of course, I checked out the Cloud lifter which sells for approximately $150 cdn, the dynamite preamp which sells for approximately $134.00 cdn and the Fethead which sells for $100 at the time of the review. While researching the three above units in question, I stumbled across the Manayo DM3 on Amazon. It is clearly a clone of the SE Electronics Dynamite stick as I discovered after searching for more information on it. I was skeptical at first but after reading the reviews here and watching YT videos, I thought it was worth it and as a prime member, I could return it if I did not like it!Upon receiving my Manayo preamp, I plugged it into the 204 DI and the first thing I noticed was I had to have my gain on the Digital Interface turned all the way down and it was still too loud.If this happens to you, don't worry...........that is why you have the PAD button on the interface! To attenuate (reduce) the db. Once I hit the PAD button, I got the perfect amount of db going through my midas preamps in the 204. I get crisp and noise free sound at 30 to 40 db on the digital interface! If you are on the fence about the Manayo DMC 3, don't be, it's worth every penny and at least half the cost of those other guys, its SO WORTH IT! I bought it when it was 20% off on Amazon which was $39.66 cdn (regular price was $49.58 cdn).SAY YOUR MONEY AND GET THIS..........................NO REGRETS!!

Cumple con lo que promete. Aproximadamente 26db más. Sonido limpio. Estoy satisfecho. Aunque por alguna razón mi caja venía sin el papel de especificaciones e instrucciones, pero no importa. El producto funciona.Puedes conectarlo directo al micrófono o si prefieres a la interfaz, no olvides activar el 48V Phantom Power.
