I have a bunch of inflatable stand up paddle boards and thought this would be fun to get everybody somewhere on the water to "dock." It feels more appropriate for a Lake Meade/Havasu flotilla kind of situation than the salt water beach.The dock is made by a company that does other inflatable things (see their ice plunge - it's the good kind). But... without an anchor I hesitate to have it in the ocean. It would need someone to keep it from drifting off.As for the pic of them using it in the pool, I wouldn't use a stand up paddle board in a pool for the same reason: falling and hitting an edge would be catastrophic.I think the best user of this thing would be someone with the extra car space (it's really big) who wants to one up the biggest, baddest Lilly pad around.The net ramp is for dogs, maybe small kids in life vests. The mesh area is for laying in the water but being protected from drifting away from the dock. The waterside ladder is a good idea, if a little on the flimsy side.The included pump works, but I didn't even attempt it. It can take 10-15 minutes to manually pump up a paddle board. There was no way I was going to sit there and pump this thing for 30-45 minutes. You absolutely need an electric pump. Preferably 12v or 110v as a battery operated one will be one and done.The concept is cool. Construction is ok. Uses are limited, but only by your imagination and stance on the idea "safety third."

The Inflatable Floating Dock 8X8 FT with Water Hammock & Water Ramp Floating Island/Floating Rafts/Floating Platform, Wood Grain Non - Slip Surface, Ideal for Pool, Ocean, Lakes (Green White) was obtained for the rapidly approaching summer season. We will use it on the huge lake we live on for adults, children and dogs to use. The raft seems to be very durable, being made of high strength PVC. The inflatable Floating Dock is tear-resistant, weather-resistant and sturdy. We have not used it yet, as the aformentioned lake has been in flood stage all of April, however It serves as a reliable Floating Raft containing a water hammock, a water ramp for pets or kids to get or off, it contains a rope ladder, and several areas where people can sit or "lay out" getting a tan. I plan to tie it to a tree on the bank and using it all summer long.
