This is my first time sweeping a chimney. I'm thinking the other model would have stiffer brissels this one was a little weak on the scrubbing the sides of the pipe. But it got it done

Brush really does the trick, and I think I only spent 10 minutes of actually running it down the chimney tube. Use and flashlight and you can really see and before and after difference.I bought one 48-inch flexible rod and attached it to a 10-foot piece of half-inch electrical conduit pipe. Had to get a plumbing reducer from half to quarter inch, and all that only cost $5. In hindsight, I could have used another 48-inch flexible rod. It's so easy, and so much cheaper than hiring a professional.
