This snow globe just made somebody cry! Tears of happiness, she has been so depressed lately and she misses her dog, this has so many puppies on the outside base, along with Santa climbing a ladder, and 2 very cute happy puppies inside. She absolutely fell in love with it- before even turning it on. What an amazing surprise that the globe has not only falling snow, but it changes colors too, there's an option on the switch to just turn on snow and lights or to do all of it including play the Christmas music. It takes 3AA batteries, and I thought it would also work with a cord when I ordered it, but it does not, and that doesn't matter, because I think the batteries will last quite a while. This is not only adorable, but had a nice weight to it, sits very stable, and the glass is clear. Everything works great and the puppies are real figures, not just a picture, so you can look from any direction. The lights are so nice and colorful, they even cast shadows on the wall. This is great for anyone, any age and any time of the year. It is high quality and very cute, it's very giftable, and I highly recommend it and I hope this info has been helpful.

Bought three...one for our home, one for Lulu's groomer and one for great niece. Very cute. Can turn off music (THANKFULLY) and just let lights and snow swirl. It's a winner.
