If I could give this bike a negative score, I would. This is absolutely the worst bike I've ever gotten. Had it professionally put together and they straight up told me is was a piece of junk. The bike almost tips over when you make a slight turn at a low speed and people in other states can probably hear the brakes because of how loud they were. I rode the bike 50 feet out of the store and then went right back in to tell them it wasn't safe to ride and they said that they had done all they could but the bike was just unstable and poorly put together. Now I'm gonna have to pay the shipping cost to get this thing the heck out of my space because it's absolutely garbage. I'm livid that I spent the money on this and will never purchase anything from this seller again. If you want a 3 wheeled bike, pay the extra money for one that's actually stable and that has well made parts. This one is basically scrap metal.

My wife loves it but...it's hard to turn and seat is uncomfortable. Had to take to a pro shop to finish assembly and get it all uniform.

Assembler will need metric hex wrenches, metric wrenches, metric sockets and a chain tool. The front brake was already assembled, thank goodness. When attaching the chain, put the gearshift on lowest gear, 7, and put the chain on the lowest sprocket, or smallest sprocket. Then attach the pull wire. Then turn the bike upside down so to be able to crank the pedals and shift the gears. There are 2 adjusting screws on the derailleur. Loosen the one labelled "H" to move the chain all the way to the 7th gear, and loosen the one labelled "L" to move the chain to the first gear. My bike has a coaster brake with adjusting screws, don't know what they are for, but the set screws were loose. Attach rear fenders to rear bumpers before attaching to the frame; note how the bumpers attach to the frame before attaching fenders. My tires are 26" so I used the top screw holes on the bumper. Then loosen the 2 top screws on the fender to align it with the wheel. I used zip ties to hold the basket together instead of the small metal rectangles to bend around the wires. Once assembled, I rode to the grocery store, and it handled the steep hills nicely. Watch your feet when pushing, the back tires will hit your feet. When pushing it backwards to park it, the chain came off, and the screws holding the chain guard interfere with resetting it on the gears.

Bought this for my wife and now she doesn't have to worry about balancing during riding. You won't fall from this bike no matter what you do. Takes getting used to at first but she got the hang of it. The assembly manual is useless unless you are a well experienced bike assembler. However, I managed to find a video assembly step by step in YouTube and this made my life much easier. You do need the chain tool (you will see this in the YouTube video) and bought it here in Amazon. Make sure you tighten all the bolts, as after the first use, one of the bolts that holds the rear fender wheel went missing. Also there were a couple of missing bolts from the package. But overall, my wife is happy and therefore life is good.

My husband was so excited about his bicycle! He put it together in no time flat. He said the instructions were easy and simple to follow. The bike rides great! We put a lot of miles on it everyday.

Pro: Does seem like a good trike. Once i get everything tweaked, it should be great.Con: Like most have said, useless instructions!Came Damaged! The frame where the axle connects was bent. Had to bend it back to put it together. Dent in one fender. Nasty scratch on downtube. Rear brake is making the axle drag, without it being applied.Missing one of the nuts and hook for the front wheel!!Lots of odd little pieces that make no sense. What is that 3in piece of wood for??? Nuts and bolts were in a dollar store easter zip lock.Should've listened and spent the extra on a Schwinn.

First, It was scratched all over when we carefully removed the packaging, it looked like to us that it was a return. Next we had 3 mechanics to help put together, as I am handicapped and unable to do too much. It took them 3 days at 4 hours each day to put this bike together. The instructions were absolutely USELESS. NO readable pictures were included. The person(s) who wrote the instruction manual should in my opinion be FIRED. The seat you included with this bike must be made for someone who weighs 30# (pounds) and part absolutely USELESS. The reflectors we still have not figured out. NO INSTRUCTIONS WHAT SO EVER ON HOW TO ADJUST THE DERAIL-ER. Luckily, someone posted a video on YouTube so we could figure out how to adjust the derail-er. Next problem was the flippin basket. Why make them to fold down, stupid design, if you don't want to use the basket, just remove it completely. I ended up zip tying the basket together the best I could. Metal clips to hold basket together were again absolutely USELESS. I ended up using my old seat from the 20 inch trike I replaced with this one. Had I known this would be such a problem, I would have opted to repair the chain and added a couple more speeds to it to suit me. The Schwinn trike I had, had the original chain on it yet and it was built in 1969. I would have returned it too, but we already had to modify it to meet my needs. I have had to buy touch up paint to match the yellow. We got it to work for my needs by adding a trailer hitch, I have a point 8 cu foot John Deere wagon that goes behind a tractor that I need to get my walker down to the shower at our campground, this bike is my only source of transportation within the 130 acre park with which I live in from May to October each summer. One thing I do like about it, it is only 1/3 of the weight of the Schwinn Trike.
