If you like to move around a lot, this set up is perfect. I use in combination with my mega live. Instead of carrying the big unit, I drill around the mega live and hole hop with this. The only issue is the material is tight up against the unit when you zip shut. Sometimes the power gets turned on unknowingly. I have more than enough battery for my unit, so it hasn't been an issue for me yet.

The ice transducers are hard to find these days. I went this way because of availability. It's a nice package

Does not work as advertised. Misled by advertisement "Make any Helix 5 an ice flasher. just purchesed a kit to make my Helix 5 an ice flasher. Does not show my bait i'm using an is very slow to react. I am wishing i hadn't wasted my money.

If you have a helix 5 and want to use it for ice fishing, this is the bees knees right here. Well worth the money.
