the mounting pole comes with the Mega live 1st series transducer included, but they are not offeringa model with the new Mega Live 2 transducer.at the very least they could offer the Pole only option.I can get the Mega Live 2 transducer anywhere and put it on the pole myself.very poor marketing by Hummingbird.

Mega live is great. Mounting pole is terrible! Pole snapped the first time I used it! It is a hollow fiberglass pole. The company that makes the pole is GeigerTec. I contacted them and they said if I paid for shipping they would send me a new pole. The shipping was $46. I paid them to ship another pole. I never received a replacement pole. They stopped responding to my emails and refused to refund the shipping cost on the replacement pole. They have terrible customer service. You would be better off to buy the mega live and a different brand pole.

Went together very easily, haven't tried it out yet but can't wait. Had to buy #720074-1 Ethernet cable to be able to connect 360 with HB helix 9. Instructions are a little confusing but after reading thru a couple of times it worked out. For the price you should not have to buy a cable to be able to hook it up to the HB finder. Worse thing is after buying they now have them $500 cheaper.
