This tray is not exactly what I was expecting. I have gotten quite a few display items on Amazon in black and white (art booth), and loved them all. This though....it is fake wood, not real wood. The distressed "rustic" black finish is just okay, probably covering up the funky material.The round "beads" going around the edge are actually one piece of plastic, not individual beads. Most items of this style are individual beads, and they look much better than this. *sigh*To my eye, this is serviceable, nothing really cute. It just misses. So, for the price, I really can't reccomend it. It's obvious at the corners that the plastic bead trim was snapped apart. It's- just unfinished enough.

This tray/riser is very pretty. It's nice and large, so it can hold many items at once. I love the distressing that was done with the paint and the woodgrain that still shows through on the base. It's very sturdy and stable, it does not wobble at all nor is it warped in any way. A great item for the home!

Cute tray but I think the price point is a little high for the quality. It is just the right size for my purposes and fits the space where I plan to use it. It can easily be used on a coffee table or shelf as well as a centerpiece for the dinner table. The black paint is a mat finish and the beads make a nice finish.

This is the perfectly sized tray to display your favorite candles on your coffee table. The detail on the beading of this white tray fits right in with a country farmhouse style. It is sturdy with four rounded feet adding a little extra height and would be great for displaying cupcakes or treats. The description didn’t say if it was food grade, so I would definitely add a liner of some kind first. The tray is functional, beautiful and can be used in a number of ways.

Very nice solid weight tray with good quality craftsmanship. The corners are sealed well (I always look at the seams to see if there are any gaps), and the wood is smooth all around top to bottom. The feet are round and smooth so it should cause any scratches. The detailing on the sides has gold, which I wasn’t expecting since it mentioned farmhouse. Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t think of gold when putting together a farmhouse decor theme. Nonetheless, it’s a pretty tray and I will find a home for it.

This tray is very good to use as depicted in the pictures, on a table with a couple of decorative items. But instead, I added an ornament and hung it on a wall, to complement a nearby mirror with a similar whitewashed frame.I attached a 3-dimensional metal and glass sailboat, by drilling small holes, wired the boat to the tray, and used the wire at the top to make a hanger in the back. First, I removed the feet from the back, by heating them with a hairdryer and a knife to pull them off. It’s a nice wall hanging for my minimalist coastal look, and the beaded edge of the tray is good visual interest, upon entering the room.Although it's great quality, the price is a bit steep! If I were to guess, I would say $20 or less.
