I had ordered two 2-packs of a "Hoover Agitator Belt 40201180" for my machine. I ordered two 2-packs (total of four belts) because I have really come to like this model vacuum (with power head) - which has long since been discontinued - and I hope to keep mine going as long as possible. The belts I ordered are great OEM quality, although the design of the motor drive seems to be a high-stress item - it turns the agitator/roller in the power head, and I know these belts need to be renewed periodically. When I got the package from VacBelts, it contained only one 2-pack. While the dollar-cost involved is no biggie, I wanted to alert the vender to a possible order processing glitch, and also (of-course) maybe get the two-pack they owed me. - I order so much from Amazon, and I appreciate the fidelity of good vendors. - I contacted VacBelts directly via the email on their store page (Amazon has no good way to address this type discrepancy). Within a week, a new package arrived with a nice note and my missing 2-pack. This vender really "gets it".

I had no idea that replacing the belt would make as much of a difference as it did. The belt fit perfectly and works great

True Hoover brand agitator belts. Worked PERFECT on my Hoover brand device which is like 20 years old canister style.Make sure you research your specific Hoover model to find the PROPER part number to order. DO NOT ASSUME all agitator belt part numbers will work on your specific vacuum cleaner even it is a Hoover brand.

Spend the extra money on UPS shipping. I have been waiting for these belts for almost three weeks now. UPS, in conjunction with the USPS, said the label was not readable. I gave my address to UPS which they relabeled. They dropped it off at US Post near my location and USPS is claiming they never got it. I'm not sure if Hoover knows what they are doing when it comes to labeling a package correctly. In addition, there is no way to communicate with Hoover to get a replacement shipped to me. Meanwhile, I can't find this belt any where else. I really do not like living in a home with dirty carpets. Disgusting.

My Hoover requires replacement belts far too often. The last few I bought don't seem to stay on for more than one or two cleanings and they are difficult to replace. Don't know if it is the beater head or the belts but something is wrong!

I did receive two belts as pictured, but they are generic belts, not the Genuine Hoover belts shown.Oh well, they seem to work fine, and were very cheap. We'll see if they last three years like the real thing.

I have my vacuum back! It's an older canister and I guess over the years the belt had stretched though I guess it was so subtle I never noticed. I cleaned out the nozzle every fourth or fifth use to remove fibers caught in the rollers. On the rug the roller seemed to turn OK but I noticed it would almost stop on the back stroke. I almost bought a new vacuum before deciding to try new belts. The belts arrived and in comparison they were about 1/2 the size of my existing belt. I thought I got the wrong size but decided to try anyway. Installation was a little tight but I could tell the size was perfect. I can't believe my old belt stretched that much and was still turning the roller. That belt must have been maybe 10 years old? With the new belt the roller just won't quit. I can feel the nozzle try to run away with the vacuum and good pressure against the back stroke with the roller still spinning at full speed. I also heard quite a bit more dust/dirt coming out of my rugs. The new belt has brought my old Hoover back to life and saved me a ton of money compared with buying a new vacuum. I hope I don't lose the second belt that came in the package. I can't imagine needing it for a few years.

This a a great vacuum. I have dogs and have gone through two vacuum cleaners this year before purchasing this Hoover WindTunnel. I had avoided canister vacuums in the past thinking that a canister could not handle the volume of dog hair that is shedded every day by my dogs. But after burning up two previous upright bagless vacuums (one being a windtunnel and advertising being "pet friendly"), I decided to try a canister.I choose a Hoover because I already known a carpet shampooer made by Hoover. The shampooer is big, green and one of the ugliest on the market with no extra gadgets or fancy design but it works like a champ! The Hoover WindTunnel Canister Vacuum lives up to the dependability and excellent quality of Hoover. Unlike the shampooer, this vacuum is stylish. It is light weight, super easy to clean and has a retractable very long length cord (no more winding the cord!).The vacuum has three actual vacuum speeds and can go from bare floor to carpet with a simple push of a button. Having three speeds is great and something most vacuums do not have. The buttons control panel is on the handle so there is no bending over for adjustments. There are three buttons - on, speed, and off. Using just the "on" is great for bare floors and suction when using attachments. "Speed" starts up the brush head on the vacuum head and pressing it again increases the power. "Off" turns everything off - no need to turn off the "speed" separately. The bagless container inserts and removes easily. The container's lid is on the top with a handle on the side. No more dumping just vacuumed stuff onto a just vacuum floor. The removal and inserting of the extension bar into the vacuum head and attachments is also simple and easy. The extension bar telescopes making areas not easily reached without moving furniture or using a ladder more accessible. And last, but not least, the vacuum head is low in height so that it easily goes under any low-to-the-floor furniture. With the telescoping extension bar, you can vacuum under a bed without have to move the vacuum or the bed. The vacuum head locks into position so that the extension bar is in an upright position (as seen in the picture) - no more tripping over the hose.Eventhough there are less expensive vacuum, this Hoover is well worth the price. It has already out lasted the previous vacuum cleaners with no signs of wear or tear. And this vacuum makes the chore effortless in a lot less time. I highly recommend this vacuum to anyone who has to vacuum every day.
