Your cart is empty. Split ring pliers are very easy to use:
Simply open the pliers, place the ring against the straight jaw, and then close the pliers.
The hooked perpendicular jaw will then wedge the split ring open.
The pliers can be removed once the open end of the ring is slid through its intended attachment point.

The first thing I did was open up a key ring that always gave me lots of trouble (it is made of thicker than usual metal). I used to always break my nails and even worse than that, break the skin getting under my nails and causing it to bleed & hurt for days! This tool is a so easy use! You can easily open the ring and then move it down to open the space even larger. Then my wife used it to fix some jewelry that regular needle nose pliers would work. Gone are the days of pain and wasted time trying to get a new key on a ring. It even works with fat keys, fobs or even keys that have a color coated rubber or plastic end covers. Got it the next day too! It works on small and large key rings The only small complaint is the plastic handles move off the pliers and have to be pushed back on often, I might try to glue them on if it becomes too much of a hassle.
