The instrument arrives VERY detuned. The obvious reason for this is to prevent temperature fluctuations from damaging the strings and base. So far, so good, but that's where it ends. The tuning (assuming you succeed) is extremely temperature sensitive. The tuning wrench is only 4" long and makes fine adjustments very difficult against the string tension, the problem is that adjustments tend to go from sharp to flat without being able to zero on the desired note. I plan to find something to slip over the handle for more leverage and finer adjustments. And the absolute topper is that, while there is an included song/instruction booklet and some portions are bilingual, the majority is in untranslated Chinese pictographs. Can I get it to work? Yes. Would I recommend it to someone else? Emphatically, no
