It's very good, it has some details that if you know about bicycle repair, they won't be problems

Return was a headache. KEEP THE BOX AND PACKAGING. Less than a week and the gear cover snapped off. Break line was super loose and front breaks were not attached at all.

I reserve rating the bike at this point above a 3 at best. The bike showed up on time and I was happy about my purchase, but hoping I don't regret it. I'm not very knowledgeable with making adjustments on derailleurs or brake calipers, but always willing to learn.I took the bike out of the box and the chain was wedged between the hub and the front sprockets. The rear derailleur was attached but almost falling off the frame. When I installed the front wheel, the brake caliper was binding pretty bad on the disc brake.I didn't receive any kind of an operators manual. Is that common nowadays? So, I took the bike to a well established bike shop and paid $30 for them to go through the entire bike and they had to make several adjustments. I'm very disappointed that the manufacturer couldn't do any better than this.I would've really appreciated an operators manual so Icouldlearn to do my own adjustments, but I guess simplicity is out the door.

This bike is awesome once you take it to a bike shop and get it fixed for the gears, get them set properly. I tried I'm not a professional so I ended up taking it to a shop and had them do it. This thing's great on the trails love it if I need new parts or new one I will definitely be getting the same 1.

As was mentioned on some other reviews, the supplied seat was very narrow and hard, making a quick 15 minute ride somewhat painful. After installing an after market seat with added cushion and width, the ride is much smoother. Otherwise the setup was pretty easy. The gears/derailleurs are a little off, but nothing that a bit of tinkering won't fix. It is also much heavier than i realized. 55lbs i believe.

This is a great bike my son really loves it. We did have an issue with the pedals and crank. However the customer service that this company provides was top notch. They were able to work with me and help me get the bike fixed. I did receive a refund for the broken parts. They were just amazing and easy to get in contact with. I would highly recommend even with the few hiccups we have had. Highland was just so wonderful and helpful.

Great bike, Bought this bike during the winter months, then when summer came I had a issue with the crank making a clicking noise. Contacted customer service, and they offered to send me a new bike. Very easy to deal with. Highly recommend giving Hiland a try if you’re looking for a bike.

Bike arrived in a really timely fashion. Box wasn't ill treated, which hasn't always been the case when I've opted to order a bike online. I'll state up front, my principle reason for ordering this bike was for the frame geometry. The bike is not inordinately heavy; it would be nice if the weight was listed someone on the product page - apologies if it is and I just didn't find it :/ That in itself can be a bit of a red flag for a mountain bike, IMO. I knew that I would likely be upgrading things on this bike along the way as time and finances allowed. Which is probably not the best approach; better to save up for something you really want instead of quickly splashing out for something you strongly suspect will be served with aftermarket parts. But I'm the type who loves a good project. And the bike is perfectly usable as is. Mine seemed to be just fine. I'm accustomed to working on bikes, so little things you'd normally send a bike to a shop to fix don't scare me, especially before an initial ride. Brakes needed tuning and calibrating. A spoke or two adjusted to true a wheel could be necessary for some. Long story short; if you are not aware of the things that should be done for a full bike setup (beyond the simple things you obviously need to assemble to get the bike rolling after delivery), or comfortable doing them yourself adequately and safely, do yourself and your local bike shop a favor of letting them give you the best chance of success with your bike :)A few things I'd prioritize in future upgrades, and what the would-be buyer should be realistically be aware of as things to factor into additional costs for longevity of the bike:-Pedals are really, really budget. Would recommend buying better; $20-30 would serve you well here.-The crankset (arms in particular) seem like they won't hold up to hard use for any real length of time. $50 as a minimum jumping off point, and I wouldn't spend too far beyond what a bike like this is worth.-Brakes, with some adjustment (at least on my bike), are serviceable. An upgrade would give you more confidence, and the ones on there aren't overengineered in the least, to put it mildly :/-The wheel hubs gave me pause. I'd be curious how long they'd last when really put through their paces. -Tires are respectable. Depending on the type of riding you're doing, it may be worth keeping a few spare tubes on hand. And be sure to research pressure recommendations for the type of riding you are intent on doing. Hard tails can be as hard on tubes as their namesake suggests. Also...-The front fork would be on my update wish list. Not that the one that comes stock is terrible; it does absorb, albeit without much travel. But if you take this bike where a frame of this geometry looks like it wants to go, you'll be grateful for a fork that's well and truly up to what you throw at it.As you can tell, it'd be easy for the additional costs to get this bike to a real expensive, making this something really capable. But in the interim, barring a real lemon of a bike, and knowing that the initial setup can be a variable experience for people, this bike is a fine bargain for what it is. You get a very workable, serviceable bike an adult can expand the capabilities of as they go, in my opinion. If you're buying for a kid, I think you can be pretty happy with this bike - again, with the caveat that a complete, competent initial setup is much better peace of mind for them, let alone yourself. Would certainly recommend this bike, even if just with the faint little asterisk I gave at length :P

I bought this bike because I wanted a mountain bike and could not get one from Liv the brand that I always buy .. I did not have any expectations on it but when I saw the bike I felt in love . I had previously bikes but I don’t do maintenance by myself so I took it the the shop and they did the job for me... also y asked them to advice me if the bike has cheap parts to replace for a good ones and they just said the bike is perfect and excellent quality. I already tan the bike and feel good. The only thing I did was get new grips and pedals because I run fast on my bike . You could see them at the pictures . Btw when I bought it I did see zero reviews so I took the risk not regrets at all .
