It showed up in an unsealed packed and does not send power to my air conditioner or refrigerator with the power switch in the one or off position. My appliances had no power. The green light just flashed normal voltage. Disappointing

Over the years since I have owned an air conditioner I have purchased several brands and different types of voltage protectors and I can safely say that this has been the most useful.Where I live there are too many dips and peaks in voltage. Thanks to this friend my air conditioning is still fully functionalNOTE: My air conditioner Split is 12,000BTU and works with a voltage of 120V

Never would've thought I would need one of these but our fridge repair person who came to repair our busted LG Fridge suggested we get one if we ever had blackouts and/or brownouts, as we would with any of our other larger electric devices. He didn't specifically state which one to purchase so I went with this one. The rating is just a guess as to what it will do IN the event of a blackout/brownout so take it for what it is. So far it's working and haven't given me any issues. Worth the money? Well, if it does its job to prevent a board being fridge, then it's well worth the money. But as with insurance, you'll ever know you you need it until you need it...
