This fits perfectly and is tall enough for the unfortunate large gap between my floor and screened burglar bar door. I like that it has a loop so that you can hang it on the wall or door or wherever your heart desires.

From the item description of new improved triangular shape, I guess I was expecting that there was a molded shape inside. The only way the stopper will maintain a triangle is by using a tape that is supplied. I don’t want to apply tape to my decorator wood door.

I live in an older house with older doors, and the kitchen door is definitely due for a replacement, but that’s a story for another day. Right now, there’s this little gap at the bottom of the door that lets all that cold winter air sneak in. Living in northern New York, where January temperatures dip into the single digits daily, that’s not fun at all! So, an air blocker is really a must-have.After trying a couple of air blockers last year that didn’t quite do the trick, I went on a mission to find a better one this time around. I stumbled upon a product that looked pretty promising, and I’m so glad I decided to give it a shot! This air blocker is fantastic! It’s long enough to cover larger doors, and I especially love its design—it has weight on one side, which makes it fit snugly against the bottom of the door without shifting around. Honestly, it’s the best design I’ve come across. The little grippers on that side keep it in place, which is a huge plus! It’s heavy enough to completely fill that gap and stop all the cold air from sneaking in. Plus, it has these handy hanging loops on each end, so I can easily hang it from the door hinges when I don’t need it. It’s right there when I’m ready to put it back at night! If you’re in the market for an air blocker, I can’t recommend this one enough. Its design is just spot-on, and it’s really working wonders for me. Stay warm, everyone!

I’m sorry for the not-very-glamorous pictures, but this draft blocker is exactly what I’ve needed to help with a wracked garage door situation we have! Our home was built into a hill, eventually leading to wracking that has left some unfortunate gaps on just one side of our garage doors — gaps that grow larger as the door runs horizontally, making it difficult to utilize most means of creating a true seal.Life goes on, and with another winter headed our way, I Hail Mary ordered this draft blocker to fix the issue (at least temporarily), and it has been a Godsend! It is thick, heavy, and offers enough bulk to stop up the gap at its widest. We’ve had high winds, storms, and even some rare snow this year, and this thing has not moved AT ALL, which has been clutch since our garage doubles as our home gym.I love the triangular wedge-shape design, since it affords a “corner” to really stuff into the gap, too.I’m extremely pleased with this product and would definitely recommend it to anyone - even if your situation is more extreme than interior draft blocking!
Good product 😀

I always thought that these things were for doors that open into cold/warm areas, such as an outside door and that they were solely for draft protection. I never considered using them on internal doors to block pest traffic, light, sound, etc. I guess it is best if I do not express any doubts about my wife's wisdom. Having said that, the only reason I did not give it five stars is because the only way to keep it in place is to stick tape to the door and I personally do not like using adhesives on my interior finished surfaces, including doors. I don't get a vote, however, so i can report that these things appear to work very well and also appear to be free of defects in materials or workmanship. They appear to be well designed. Oh, and by the way; there is nothing in the world to keep one from using it on the inside of an exterior door. I am sure that it works very well as a draft stopper too.
