Works great so far, no reason to suspect its longevity to be an issue.Caution: This is for a gas appliance with electronic ignition and controls. If you don’t know how to diagnose and install, leave it to the professionals.I installed it in a 15 yr old Lennox fireplace, even though same exact part, wire insulation has been revised to where I had to increase the hole size in the fireplace for the wires.Not an overwhelming task, but even though I am a retired mechanical engineer raised on a farm, it took me some time to figure out how the fireplace system works, diagnose what part had failed and more time than I expected to install.
