Okay, so here’s the thing:First off, these things are supposed to be made for Earmor brand (OPS CORE knock off) M32s. The little figure 8 ears/tabs on each side of either ear piece won’t go through the mounting holes on the brackets. The mounting holes are round. So think of trying to put a square peg through a round hole like when you were in kindergarten — only it’s kind of shaped like some kind of oval with little wings. The point is, you have to mod those to fit them through, or you’ll break either the tab on the earpiece or the bracket you just bought.In mine, I started to mod the earpiece tab, but changed my mind bc the brackets cost less, so if I was going to F something up, I’d rather it be the $40 bracket than the $120 Earmors. I wallowed out one side, and cut a break line in the other side of the same bracket, and repeated for the other bracket. It works — really well, actually — but it’s a huge PITA, bc you really need to take your time with it. If you wallow out too much or break a tab, it’s game over.Second, the point where it actually attaches to the ARC rail — it’s stupid tight and hard to get on. That also took me forever. I slowly kind of whittled away a little at the rail and the mounting point on the brackets. It didn’t seem to make much of a dent. I could literally barely even get them started on the back rails (behind the ears on the helmet), but if you’re wanting to mount them on the top rails (above the ears), they seem to be easy to get off and on at that location. I’m not sure why, but that was my experience — trying on both a MCH and Wendy helmet. So I got a brilliant little idea — put some Shooter’s Lube on the rail and the bracket mounting point — viola! Success! It’s still a huge PITA to make it go on there, but it went. And I can get it off with some elbow grease also, but still def not easy. My only satisfaction there is knowing that it’s not going to wobble or have a bunch of rickety play in it. It’s solid for sure.Now…the good part is the springs and build quality of the moving parts. It’s solid. When in the “up” position (think like your ear protection looking like wings on your helmet), they’re rock solid and don’t flop around or spin or anything. Where you move them to is where they stay until you move them yourself. Maybe they’ll give a little over time — who knows — but at this point (today - day 1), they’re solid. To me, that’s the most important part.The mods are a huge PITA. But I’m a retired cop, and any cop or guy in the military will tell you, modding is all part of it. Rarely will something fit like a glove right out of the gate. The govt pays for what they can get from the lowest bidder, not the best craftsman — so that often means modding and adjusting to your needs.Are they perfect? No. Will they work with some likely modding, depending on your equipment? Almost certainly yes. So the question is this: Is it worth it to you?If you want “Wendy” fit like a glove with every piece, get ready to pay Wendy prices too. Expect to pay $150-200 for rails, $150-200 for ear mounting brackets, and pretty much $100-300 for every accessory piece for your noggin protector — whether it’s a bump helmet or ballistic helmet.If you want perfect fit, order Wendy stuff. If you’re on a budget like me and all the other “poors”, this will probably work for you. Is it worth $40? To me, not really. It’s the max out I would pay for these to avoid Wendy-like prices. But I’ve modded them now, so good or bad, they’re mine forever now. Worst case scenario, I have to do some CA gluing or plastic welding later.Also…worth noting: Earmor M32 Plus is the way to go for hearing protection and amplification of ambient sound if you’re wanting something quality without paying 7-10x more for Ops Core, Sordin or some of th other expensive big boys. I caught mine on sale for $99, and they work with my Baofeng radio with an adaptor that Earmor makes for $40 bucks on here too. Good prepping stuff.Hope this helps someone. Cheers!

I wanted to give these a shot and have heard the brackets for the ears are worth the whole kit. Wish they sold the bracket solo. That said... Don't buy this in place of RACs for so much as airsoft. This is larp-only gear.

Love these, make my helmet much more stable

The base that mounts to the rail is too loose and it pops off with a little pressure. I only needed the arm that connects to the headphone because mine broke. I was able to take the piece off that I needed and mounted it on the headphone, and it worked OK.

They work, but the plastic feels cheap and they are ever so slightly too small, I had to shave a bit of plastic off the headset bracket to snap one of the arms on.*edit* one of the mounting arms broke apart from being bumped against a crate while sorting a shelf. Chinesium garbage, do not buy.

Fitment was fine. Not exceptional build quality but more reasonably priced than other options and plenty good enough.

They feel well built, but they don’t fit what they advertised they would. So I’ve literally just bought paperweights.
