The size means it won't look as cool on your turntable as you thought it would. It looks way out of proportion. If it looked cooler, I'd have kept it. The size also makes it a real pain in the neck to align, even with my Dr. Feickert protractor. Once you get it aligned, it sounds fine enough I guess. I saw a comment somewhere about it being nearly equivalent to their Denon DL-301 Mk2.... That is incorrect. The VM95ML is pretty close, but not this thing. This thing is like a sharper-sounding better-defined better-tracking AT-3600L.

I had ordered and received the Blue 3 a couple of weeks ago. I was so taken back and wowed with the cartridge I decided to return it and ordered the new Timbre Series Opus 3. I'm so glad I did. The Opus is just incredible to listen to, for me. I've never heard Diana Krall sound so good. She sounds so much better on lp than on cd.
