It is a lot of money for a plastic tool

I cannot get the spacer to rest or sit right I don't know if it is warped or what but it will not space my frames uniformly going from either end will throw the opposite end out going from the center got me frustrated and after several attempts I made a clear decision. I donated the thing to the recycle container and just eyeballed my frames .Don't know why but it wasn't right for me.
