I have 2 of these and they both malfunctioned in under a year. The sprinkler rotation is unreliable. You will leave it working in the evening and find it stuck in one place in the morning. This may be a temperature sensitivity issue. Also, the stops that reverse the sprinkler are not tight enough and push out of position by the rotating head rather than tripping the reverse direction lever. Don't waste your money on pricey, aggravating junk. Tried all the Gilmour tips. I know some report these working for years. These did not.

The range of water stream was the reason I ordered. It did not disappoint. Very easy to set up and I highly recommend them. The metal construction was important for long lasting use

Delivers lots of water but you need piping, hoses, and pressure to deliver the water that this sprinkler has the capability of. I have purchased no less than 10 of these in the last 5 years. They deliver the water but they are not a long life sprinkler if you use them day in and day out. Sometimes for my pastures I let them spray one are 24 hours straight before I move to next location. If ground is hard I used a chisel to drive into the ground to set main spike with or you will break the spike.The are advertised with a lifetime warranty. Good luck on that one. After Menards quit carrying them (probably because of too many warranties) I tried to go to Gilmour’s warranty page with absolutely no success on acknowledging my claim or any response after several attempts including phone calls. But I continue to use because of the water delivery. Figure on daily use over 120 days you have probably gotten the life out of it.

This sprinkler has been really great. Solid construction. Three adjustments for intensity, range and arc work well. Long spikes for placement. Great for circular and semi-circular areas, as opposed to rectangular lawns.

Pay attention to these reviews. I wish we had! Just as others stated, the main spike breaks. And the sprinkler, after a handful of uses, now gets stuck. And when ATTEMPTING to return, they state it must be in the condition it was when received. How? It failed. It’s defective. I want a refund. I’m currently corresponding with their customer service but, beware! It’s not really appearing it’s returnable. They’re saying there will be a restocking fee if not in the same condition as it was when received.UPDATE: A full refund was issued with no need to return product. Customer service exceeds expectations.

The heavy duty metal sprinklers are not adjustable as the plastic ones I have. Disappointed in their performance.

I have had nothing but problems with these sprinklers. First one stopped rotating in a week. Second one lasted a season, but did not work first use of second season. Tried contacting manufacturer for warranty support, but there is none.

Great coverage! Solid unit, took a beating from kids playing with it and stills works like a charm. >Make sure to use a 5/8” garden hose in order to use it to its full potential. I found that with 1/2” hose it has difficulty to rotate and lacks the momentum to change directions when you limit its coverage

Unfortunately our home is 70+ years old and apparently does not have enough water pressure to run the sprinkler. Also will not work with an expandable hose. But, gave it to my daughter and it works great in her yard.

I must have a dozen sprinklers kicking around the yard but never over excited about any of them. However these sounded good so I ordered 2 of them. I received them last week and ordered another 2 yesterday. These are well made and wow do they ever shoot the water! (FYI I have over an acre of near perfect lawn and my irrigation system is tied in prior to the regulator.)
