Fits yamaha stage customs, needed to expand the hole in the drum to slide the rod through. Nice quality and makes the drum sound noticeably better!

Worked great for my Kit Slingerland late 70's model. Completely changed the sound of the drum by suspending it instead of having it mounted to the bass drum. Highly recommend giving it a try if you have older mounting technology on your kit

Perfect for my situation. Frankenstein drum set I'm using and this thing solved some serious issues I was having. I will definitely be buying more of them.

I'm a long time user of Gibraltar hardware and I love it. This is the first time I was fully disappointed in one of their products. The plate and the mounting bar had a slightly different curvature which would make the coupling of the two a bit off or very difficult to cinch. Also, having used other suspension systems I can comfortably say that this mounting plate is too large to be universal. This won't work with shallower toms. None of my 8" or 10" toms would mount sufficiently while allowing the shell protector to lay on the actual shell. Can't win them all I guess.

I love Gibraltar products and this item was very disappointing. It does not mount tight against the drum. If your setup requires you tom to hang away from this mount, the tom sways and rocks. Not a good mount. Spent too much time trying to be creative in making it work and missed the return window. Invest a few dollars more and get brand name mounts compatible to your drums.

Works great! Put it on a 14*10 Ludwig Vistalite tom and attached a Yamaha tom mount to it so I can use a Yamaha 955 stand. The only serious heavy duty stand out there with total flexibility. Check it biatches!

I would not use any other in the future. Good value. Easy to install. Best of all it is cheap!

I am disappointed. Gibraltar is a trusted name for drum hardware and I use them in my current set up.The Problem: I had to return and replace two out of four SC-USS Suspension mounts because of a factory defect: there were three holes on the main plate and two holes on the bracket. BTW: those two holes didn’t match up to any of the three holes.Possible Issue: I noticed that packaging on all of my defective Gibraltar purchases (including this one) used the older B&W Striped cardboard and the replacement parts (that worked) came in a newer looking package (Black background with Red). Maybe their quality control is better now and I just got some duds left over.The good news here is Amazon customer service.
