Overall this is a pretty nice leather portfolio, and it's got a lot of pockets and sleeves inside. It's got a vintage vibe to it, the leather looks slightly worn and distressed, and it feels rugged and masculine. It doesn't feel like a "NEW" portfolio to me, it feels like one that's been around for decades but still in new condition. I like it. When I first opened it I felt a little bit underwhelmed, it didn't seem to have the same charm as the one in the pictures and felt a little flat to me, but once I started using it (and fattening it up) it came to life and I'm pleased with it. The zipper works fine but feels a little cheap, and the metal binder assembly in the middle definitely feels a bit cheap. In this price range, I would have expected better, but it hasn't given me any issues yet. Overall I'm pleased!

This package arrived in a torrential downpour. Water had soaked in before I was able to rescue it and get the package open. So, right away I had wet leather. This was a test. Would it look different when it dried? Would it be stiff?Neither. Looks as good as new. Can’t tell anything ever happened. The leather smells sumptuous. Design is simple and functional. Now I know it can get wet and survive. This is a piece to keep and use for years. Sure to wear and age to a fine patina.

After having this case for about 3 months the zipper has come unglued in the spine, meaning it now requires me to hold the zipper where it became disconnected to zip it closed. Otherwise the leather quality feels good and the pouch is large enough for a 13 in laptop (the main reason I bought this one).I like the overall form an function of this folio that I’m going to attempt to fix the zipper. So it’s nice but the build quality isn’t durable.

First of all the leather part of this folio is beautiful and I would have given it five stars except for the fact that I specifically got this to be able to hold papers that have three hole paper punch holes in them to be held in a binder. The actual binder portion with the three metal rings is a very cheap part and the one that I got is defective and the Rings don't match up and there's no way to repair it. I already tried to line them up. Meaning I can't use this as a three-ring binder because the paper gets caught on the jagged edge of the ring that doesn't match up with the other side of the ring. Hopefully they will start using a better quality metal ring component because the folio is unusable with the defective part that is permanently bound into the folio so you can't even replace it with a better quality three ring binder component to replace this defective one. Would have been a very nice leather folio otherwise. And since it's not returnable, I'm stuck with an unusable leather folio.

The material and the build quality are genuinely wonderful. I can tell from the smell and feel alone that it's real leather. The stitching is well done and doesn't have any imperfections like loose seams, as far as I can tell.In terms of functionality, I do wish there were more pockets, folders, and bag attachments. Just anything really to help with the amount of pencils and chargers I have on hand at any given time. However, this is made to be compact and it's advertised as such. I would only recommend this if you already use or have used folders like this in the past and have a preference for them, lest you feel limited in your space. Aside from my desire for them to have more pockets, I wish the ones that were built in were a bit larger. For a frame of reference, my laptop is 13.3" and just about fits. The "laptop" pocket is only gonna be suitable for the smallest laptops the market has to offer and tablets. The phone pocket fits my phone pretty tightly and I have a smaller phone compared to what is available today (height of 5.75” (146 mm), width of 2.78” (70.6 mm). That being said the pockets are tight, will they perhaps stretch with time as leather does? Only time will tell.My final word is gonna be on the price. It is a bit steep for what it is. But the material and build are good like I said. And if you know you like using folders of this variety than I would recommend it for you. Something like this lasts and gets a lot of use out of it. If you're in need of one, you're gonna want a good one.

It's very well made. Good quality material that will last and it has a nice almost weathered look but not worn out looking. I use it to hold my ipad and a notepad, but it's plenty big enough to hold an average laptop. My only real complaint is there's no real pen holder. You can slide on in the spine there are two pieces that will hold the pen but they sort of just float and aren't super sure. It works well enough though so overall I'm really pleased with it.
