Some of the other reviews are misleading.Part number is an exact match for 74851-SNA-A12.Perfectly fits a 2006 Civic LX (no auto trunk pop).Installation takes less than 5 minutes, just make sure you keep track of which way the connecting rod for the key latch goes and you'll be good. Also it's a good idea to fold down your seats before testing the latch so you can get the trunk open if you forget to hook up the cables correctly. Why Honda doesn't have an interior release for the back seats is beyond me.

Perfect fit but take your time! Slowly and gently remove the rod that connects to the trunk lock. DON'T FORCE IT, it's designed to be easily removed. Take your time

This product claimed to have fit my 2006 Honda Civic on the Amazon website but it actually was not a perfect fit. Because of this, my trunk is not able to be opened using the key, instead I have to use the lever in the car. But, other than that, it seems to work fine.
