Not as sturdy as the original but can be used as a suitable replacement. One connection too many but you'll figure it out. Use a lot of electrical tape - even on the contacts you don't use. This switch will last longer that way.

I would recommend this product to anyone needing to replace their GE dryer door switch. One of the prongs broke off my old switch, and this replacement worked without having to crimp the female part of the wire connections. I am very glad I did not pay for a service call on the dryer when it was so easy to fix.

part fit as expected and did just what it is supposed to do, stop the dryer, turns on interior light when the door is opened. quality part and would recommend to a friend.

I love the switch and found many more expensive alternatives. I was a little reluctant to order this switch because it was so inexpensive but I did and it works very well.

The switch met all lf the specifications for a replacement, it even has an optional normally closed contact not available on the original. and at 25% of the price of one from the local dealer. you can't beat it.

The price for this switch on a really old dryer was very low and welcome. There are 3 terminals on the back which are keyed so you can't wire them wrong. I used it in a dryer with out the drum light with no problem you just leave it blank.

This switch is an exact duplicate of the GE version, for about 80% less. Not a cheap knock-off. Works fine, easy to install. It arrived just a few days after ordering.
