These were great out of the box but just a little scratchy. After some manual lubing however they have a deep creamy thoc to them. They are smooth and quiet. Though they have gotten slightly less quiet over time they are still quieter than my gathering smoothie which were already quiet. They feel amazing though.

I'm using the ROG Strix Flare I Animate keyboard. It came equipped with some very nice NX Browns, that were a little too loud for the environment.These Silver switches from Gateron were quick and easy to swap out. Every last one works perfectly, no dead switches, not even one. And I swapped out all 105 switches, and tested every last one. So I ordered one extra box of 35, just to have on hand for future projects.The thing that stands out the most to me really is the nice, consistent, and smooth motion of these switches. Practically no wobble at all, perfectly linear motion on both the downstroke and the upstroke. The sound is definitely very very quiet. The bottom stop AND top stop have just enough noise to let you know it's happening.I've only been using them for a few weeks, but it is every day. Some days for hours at a time. Still no flaws, no failures. I will be looking to Gateron for future keyboard modifications for sure.

Got these from a different vendor but figured I'd still leave a review. Great switch but not fully silent. The factory lube is great as usual and the clear housing is nice if you care about rgbs. As for the sound, It's got an extremely subtle thump to it on the bottom out. If you're expecting that completely feathery silent sound, this isn't it, and honestly I think that's the best attribute about this switch. You still get a switch that will work in any setting including in the office, but you also get a switch that still gives you a nice linear feedback without being audible to those around you. It also does a great job avoiding the mushy bottom out that many other silent switches deal with. Amongst the couple silent switches I've used, this is it for me. Just enough feedback with enough reduced volume to be used anywhere. Honestly, if Gateron just changed the description from fully silent to quiet it would be perfect.

While the keyboard plate, internal damping, and keycaps also play a significant role in the sound created by a mechanical keyboard, these switches will go a long way to reduce the overall sound- if that's what you're after. Unlike some other "silent" switches I purchased recently, these have a muted bottom-out and no ping on quick release. The travel is smooth and linear with almost no wiggle or chatter.At ~$0.75 each, these are not cheap switches- they're also not the most expensive either. However, they're about 3x the price of the very common 'yellows', but they definitely feel more premium and refined. To replace all the switches in a 60% keyboard, you'd need 2 packs of these and 3 packs for larger keyboards. That add up and can be a significant investment. If you're an enthusiast or just want a premium experience, while muting most of the noise contributed by the switches these are worth a look.

Sehr leise und hochwertig gemacht aber! Um eine 60 Prozent Tastatur zu vervollständigen braucht man zwei Päckchen also muss man entwa 60€ zahlen wenn man alles Vollständig haben will

Not the cheapest silent switch but they feel all so nice and it is a giant difference for a standard linear switch. It's so quiet. I can't believe how much of a difference it is.

These are linear and quiet in comparison with others but are not really fully silent. I have other quieter.

So stable - so quiet- so fast. If you want a silent yet quick and stable linear switch - get this you will love it.
