Dungeons & Dragons: Icewind Dale Map has a high-quality vinyl surface, ideal for tracking the progress of your adventures during the Icewind Dale, Rime of the Frostmaiden campaign. Trapped in winter’s cold embrace, nomadic humans follow herds of reindeer through their migrations, while others dare the treacherous waters of the Sea of Moving Ice in search of fish, seals, walruses, and whales to sustain them. Dwarves dig into the earth to seek shelter and mine for iron. Meanwhile, folk descended from foolhardy and treasure-mad immigrants eke out meager lives in Ten-Towns, which can barely hold back the wind, let alone marauding orcs, giants, and fierce tundra yeti. Despite the unnatural cold and other dangers, people still brave the journey to reach this harsh winterscape, searching for opportunity and adventure. The maps may be marked with wet-erase markers to temporarily record the paths your heroes travel, make notes about encounters and locations, or modify the landscape to suit your own campaign. They also look great on the wall of your game room! *Printed on high-quality single sided vinyl surfaces, these maps are durable and hard wearing that are ideal for tracking the progress of you adventures during the campaign!

This map is a little extraneous since there isn’t much here besides topography and a few small towns. But if you’re setting a D&D campaign in this region of the Forgotten Realms it’s nice to have. The selling point here is it’s made on a vinyl material where you can use dry erase markers on it and wipe it clean. It lies 100% flat out of the tube and has a great feel to it. Better than paper and even canvas IMO (which you can buy on Etsy if you’re so inclined). Gale Force maps are the best hands down.

A very large map that I use to decorate the game table during the sessions. It gives a good sense of the vast area around Ten Towns. The only drawback for this product is the fact that it does not contain the maps of the towns themselves.

Crisp printing, nice size, wet erase friendly. And the tube it comes in can fit my chessex battle mat in there with it! Completely happy with this purchase.

Great print work. Great material used. Love the location - how it expands past Ten Towns, and goes way off into Reghed and even beyond. My only criticism would be that the question I posted wasnt answered very honestly. I asked if the map comes rolled or folded, and was told several times that it comes rolled in a clear tube. It didn't. It came in a box and wasnt rolled. And it came a bit wrinkled - luckily the material is such that the wrinkles can be fixed. So if shipping was a better (roll it and throw a rubber band on it, man...not hard to do) I would be a 5-star dropper..

I was surprised at the quality of the map. Great details, great quality, and I look forward to using it with my gaming group. I wish more products on Amazon where of this quality.

It's nice having a visual of the area of Icewind Dale and the surrounding area. I use this map as a visual aid for my gaming group.

This Vynil Map is there if you want a more resilient copy of your map than the one given in the Module RotF. I do NOT recommend you to use blue sticky stuff directly on it tho, it might tear off, but it is going to stain it. Instead; Buy a few (strong enough) magnets and metal flat disk at your dollar stuff (sometimes comes together) and use the sticky stuff to stick the disk to wall and the magnets to pin the map. Really nice for players to look at, even if its a bit smaller than the paper one, only one-sided, no labels for the DM stuff and the missions so the players can use it.P.S. Revise The Travel time, might be relevant, make some research instead of using the "takes half the time to get there if on dogsled" from the book. Trust me. Its way better.
