This model, the 38010 Hawke Frontier HD X 8x42 Binoculars in Green has fog proof, multi-coated lenses with a hydrophobic coating to repel water. Controlled chromatic aberration eliminates color fringing allowing all detail to be clearly visible.
All Frontier HD X binoculars pass through a strict quality control inspection to ensure all aspects match design intent. They are optically checked for resolution, light transmission and Strehl Ratio for optical image formation. Their resilience to harsh temperatures, both hot and cold, operate from -15°C to +55°C and in storage conditions from -40°C to +70°C. Waterproofing to IPX7 and fog proofing are also rigorously trialed.

this the 2nd unit i bought, 1st unit is perfect!but this unit is defective, lens cannot focus well...we tried product support recommendations, but still cannot focus well!

The binoculars are great. Great optics, easy to use, and are lighter than my current pair.Arrived in probably the best packaging I have ever recieved from Amazon. Obviously made to protect potentially fragile products.

Only the second pair of binoculars I have ever purchased and used. The previous pair were around £30, I thought they were quite good, well, I got these and I was blown away with the razor sharp imaging the render. I don't have other more expensive to compare, however I do photography and have high end gear Nikon D4s and 300mm f2.8 VR2, and these are high quality. These binoculars will be a fantastic accompaniment to my photographic endeavours.Buy them, you won't regret it...FAB

So smooth in focus and adjustments. Great feel albeit a little heavy. Decent field of view but didn’t seem accurate with specs. Fuzzy edges and kidney beaning made me just day no.
