I have to admit that I did not get this shirt because of its flame-retardant qualities. I ordered it because it just looked good. Upon trying it on, I am not disappointed in the look or quality of this shirt. I ordered the XL in a True Navy color. I found the XL to be just a little on the large size. Even though I have long arms and most XL sleeves are too short for me, these were on the long side, but not to the point of looking funny or being uncomfortable. What I did find unusual was the color. I admit I'm not sure what the "True Navy" color is, but I found it to not even be close to a navy color. I would actually call this a dark gray.As mentioned earlier, this shirt has a lot of flame-retardant qualities that I know nothing about, but for just everyday wear, this one is a winner.

This shirt fits comfortably and fits well. Its not constraining in any way. The weight makes it good for the temperatures of spring and fall weather. I do recommend this.

Picked this up after melting a hole through my favorite hoodie last month. That was an expensive lesson. Been wearing this FR shirt for my weekend welding projects and so far no burn marks or holes, despite plenty of sparks finding their way onto the fabric. The quarter-zip is actually genius for temperature control - welding gets hot as hell but between pieces you're standing around cooling off. Quick zip adjustment beats pulling a whole shirt over your head. The lightweight cotton breathes way better than the heavy FR coveralls I used to suffer through. Threw it in the wash inside out on cold and it came out fine, though I'm expecting some shrinkage based on other reviews.Fit is on the athletic side, which works great for moving around the shop but might be snug if you've got a dad bod situation going on. The henley collar sits flat under my welding helmet without bunching up.For thirty-six bucks, this is a solid work shirt that happens to not catch fire. The black color should hide stains well and it's comfortable enough that I've been wearing it for non-welding shop work too. Just remember it's flame resistant, not flame proof - don't go testing the limits.

This is an excellent Flame Resistant Shirt CAT2, Quarter Zip Up Pullover, and it is well made. I also like that there are many sizes available and it is very comfortable. I ordered the black one and it fits well. I got a 3X and although it is well made, its still not too heavy and feels right. If you weld or are a fire fighter or anything to do with an environment with high heat, this is a great shirt for safety.

I bought this Flame Resistant shirt for welding as a hobby, and it's been an excellent choice. The 1/4 zip design is fantastic because it’s much easier to manage than a button-up, especially when I need to quickly adjust the fit or ventilation. I’ve had it for a few weeks now, and the shirt fits great. It’s comfortable to wear, and the material is thick enough to offer protection without feeling too heavy or restrictive. The fabric holds up well even after several uses, and it hasn’t worn down like some of my other gear. The fit is true to size, and the fabric is breathable enough to keep me from sweating excessively, which is a huge bonus when working in warmer conditions.Overall, it’s a fantastic shirt for the price and definitely does the job for what I need. I’m happy with my purchase and would recommend it to others who need protective, comfortable workwear.
