Why did you pick this product vs others?:This product worked out great! We have a larger window unit that fit perfectly. Very sturdy support and easy to install. Husband and son got it installed quickly!

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of this product, very sturdy for our new air conditioner. The two bubble levels didn't quite agree with each other but not a major concern ! Would definitely buy again.

Great minimally invasive idea but the support legs fall out of place at times due to the finicky angle of the window A/C that is required.

Okay I wasn't expecting miracles, but, come on, the airconditioner has to have a lean. Otherwise the unit leaks on the inside. Not to mention you have to put together... huh weak points.. as well the paint chipped so possible rust points. needless to say.. we cannot use them.

What can I say? I am getting old. Prior to getting this, I would try to hulk a large AC unit into my window while my wife tried to help and prevent it from falling out. Even once I got it in, I was concerned with the safety, sturdiness, and pressure the unit put on my window and frame. I did this for a few years after buying a new home before I finally bought this bracket. I can now install the unit much easier by myself without worrying as much about dropping it from 2nd story. My only real complaint is that they could have engineered a slightly better mounting design so that you could maybe leave the mounts in the window frame while removing the bracket for the season. A studded design would be nifty. You could get away with using larger screws once or twice, but eventually you will need to fill the holes or replace wood in frame if removing this seasonally.

Works as designed and easy to install. There were some missing parts (bolt, nuts, washers) that would've required most people to go to the hardware store to replace the missing parts. I ordered the recommended Forestchill Window Air Conditioner Bracket Accessory - M6 kit (4 small bolts and nuts) that helped save the day. What's another $4 to supplement a product that should have had the correct hardware? I scrounged for some replacement washers around the house to finish out the hardware list. I was able to get around the grammatical mistakes in the instructions fairly easily. I would've rated this product as 5-stars had it not been for the missing hardware and additional cost I had to make this product work properly. Suggest that this company look at their quality assurance issues and resolve for future customers.

this a/c support was cumbersome and did not fit our standard window. Once installed, the leg braces did not stay against the house siding. Unfortunately, I missed my 30 day return timeframe by 1 day and could not return. I did not get to use them because the a/c I ordered got put on backorder. I had ordered two bracketsI have them up for sale at my local supermarketWould not buy again

in an NYC apartment with METAL window frames and BRICK exterior wall. You will need self drilling/ self tapping screws to install this in metal window frames. Also, if your exterior wall has a decorative lip around the window then the 2 arm bracket will have the correct length to help adjust for the lip. If you are not handy, get a professional to install this. It is sturdy and I am confident in the event of a major accident my AC will have an extra level of security before falling out of the window.

Why is it so difficult to add a couple of pages of paper and hire a retired person who can speak and write well to draw up these instructions that are often terrible? If you read and reread then look some more, one can sort of figure out what you are supposed to do. The parts are listed, but the sizes of the bolts and threads sizes are left out. Plus absolutely no extras are included so if you drop one of the nuts into your wife's flower bed, which I did, you have no way to know what size to buy to replace. It's hard to tell from the inside which holes the bolts should go in then when the sill piece is installed you find out you need to move the bolts. Now you have a problem lining up the bolts, nuts, and holes while hanging off the ladder outside, so once you have gotten them lined up again there's no way in hell that I'm going to take it all apart to match a nut to the bolt at the hardware store. I think it will be quite sturdy and attractive if you can manage to get it all together. Maybe not so bad if you are working on a ground level window.
