because it is easy to damage Face ID and make it impossible to use face recognition.

The lengthiest part is getting the old screen to be removed as it needs to be heated up with a blowdryer so the adhesive gets loose, however I found it helpful to follow a video tutorial and I was able to get it done. Overall this kit has everything you need to get the job done, should take about an hour to do.

The display works and that’s what matters .But the quality not so great I found 3 issues with the display 1. low refresh rate 2. bezel bigger than original display 3. The light color not accurate

Update: 2 days after installingI’m having Face ID issues where initially Face ID worked and then a message saying it’s been disabled. I was able to get it back up only to have it show up again a 2nd time.Picture quality is still excellentMy battery drains fast with this display, I go from 95% to 20% in a matter of an hour if im on it the whole time. If I just check my phone here and there I’ll be at 20% in 4 hours.LCDs do require more battery, so it might not be the brand.The touch screen won’t respond sometimes, it hasn’tOnly had the screen for a day but I am suprised at the quality! I was expecting dullness and few other color changes bc this is an LCD and IPhone 12 Pro is an OLED display. But I can’t tell a difference. I’ll give it a week and update my review if anything happens.Overall right now very happy with the quality Instructions were very clear with pictures and it has side notes to give you more info if you need it. There’s even a number to call if you have any issues (I didnt have any issues).Tools were surprisingly quality and they don’t skimp either. There were multiple options.

This screen works, and was fairly simple to install. I've had my screen replaced several times at non Apple shops locally. This screen is similar to one I paid $125 for at a local repair shop. Very low color saturation. Colors are not very deep at all royal blues are more like sky blue. The dimmer is almost non existent. I mean it dims but the difference from full brightness to all the way down is only slight. Otherwise so far functions as it should just feels like staring into high beams on the highway when you check it at night.

This product was OK for about a month and then for no reason the screen stopped working. My phone started glitching and there was lines going through the screen of my phone. I do not recommend this product at all.
