It worked out for me with a little patience and more importantly the new cover. My 2010 Camaro fob basically disintegrated and I needed a replacement. My chipboard was still good so I swapped it over to this shell. There’s a good YouTube video where the guy explains how to do it thoroughly. If this is your situation have a set of very small screwdrivers and about 15-30 minutes of patient tinkering. I also used the same key blade from my original to avoid the dealership charging me for a cut and program. Good luck!

The internal parts did not fit my 2013 Chevy Malibu key. The key will not stay down. I can't return it since we had the break the original part to get the key and board out.

Other than spending $30 to get the key cut it was well worth it to me save me a lot of money

It worked. It was little difficult to get the original key to fit in the case, (I didn't have the new blank cut). It does what it is supposed to.

The product is as described by the seller. It was promptly delivered, and was of reasonable cost. It is fairly simple to put together, the only issue may be when you replace the blank key with your existing key. Some of the original Equinox keys may extend further back. These are easy fixes, and there are several you tube videos out there to help. Or you can simply take it and have the new key laser engraved.

Replacement key fob shell for a 2014 Chevy Cruze didn't work quite right. The key blank is slightly different than the original key (the slotting that locks the key open and closed with the button is different). I was hoping to reuse the key but will now need to spend some money to have the blank cut to work. Win some, lose some. The buttons work, so there is that.
