I purchased a new 12k BTU ATC and wanted to keep any airleaks from the side curtains out. I feel itv works great at insulating the air leaks and dampening sound. The foam is thick and ribbed and as such feels quite durable. You can cut them to size but I didn't need to, they fit perfectly which made them even easier to install. Just push into place and secure the side with the sticky strip to the side of AC. I'm glad I got these and feel they're a great value for your money (and the money you'll save by the insulation they provide).

I've been looking for ways to make my air conditioning window unit more insulated, and this was a great way to do it. My window unit is a little shorter than these, but it was easy to cut them down to the correct size. The angled cuts locked perfectly into the accordion side panels, and it keeps out bugs to boot!I did have to secure it in place with more than the two included adhesive strips, but other than that it seems to be doing its job well.
