This splitter doesn't work even with an electric drill and dry wood. May work for balsa wood.

Need to use this correctly. Easy to use not correctly. Need to drill towards end of wood not in the center.

Just locks up half way in to wood. Almost burnt up my half inch hammer drill on it

Didn’t work for me the drill almost broke my wrist because the drill spun and didn’t even split the wood.

We recently had a few trees chopped down due to disease and had the wood left behind. To make it useful for campfires, we had to split it. This is super easy to attach to a drill and split the wood (usually into 4 pieces). If need be, we use this to start the split and then use an axe or hatchet to finish the job. Super useful!
