Good value to protect important documents from fire. It feels like it's built correctly, feeling somewhat like a reinforced silicone potholder or something.

I always look for additional protection for items as only one safe that can withstand a fire/flood - and there are two problems with that - 1. there is a time restriction, as with everything else, and 2. I cannot really grab a 2 ton safe (4000 pounds) in case of an emergency.I have had pouches and suitcases before - but never at this price for quality ratio.In regards to this case in particular:- It fits a surprisingly large amount of personal belongings: I have fit jewelry boxes (specialty ones that came with the set), cash, documents, passports, specialty medicine, and even heavier items that you would want to have with you at a time of emergency, and does not do well in fire or water.- I can only guarantee that it is waterproof. I did a few trial to replicate real-life scenarios (not dropping it to the bottom of the ocean for weeks at a time).- I did not test it to 2099 degrees F and I hope that this bag never sees that. Based on the description by the seller, it should definably handle that.So overall, 5 stars all the way. I have three in total (bought two more after seeing how great this one is) and now I can separate certain items and know that each bag has a specific purpose.The only really good advice I can give to close off with: make sure you measure your safe (if you want to use portable ones) because this bag is not on the smaller side. If you have a really small personal space, it will not fit unless you fold it, and folding may or may not reflect on the fire-proofing or water-proofing abilities over time.

After searching for a while, reading reviews, and watching videos I decided to get this bag. The quality is great, it comes with several layers of protection and 3 compartments for your valuables. You can store all your important documents in it.
