I really like the thumb adjustable flame. When the cord end is fluffed out, it lights very easily with a spark.

When I received this item, I was pleasantly surprised to see the size versus the weight of these things. They were packaged in a reusable tin to keep them in. I can see these being very handy in starting fires for various uses.My uses for this item will be:CampfireSolo Stove firepit

Super basic, Worked exactly as I expected. Single strike start up from a good Ferro rod. That said most of me Ferro rods are 5" x 1/2" with great spark. This is a good addition to my fire kit.

Fantastic quality for the price. If you’re looking to add a tinder wick to your fire kit look no further. The hemp cordage is surprisingly 40 inches in length which is twice as long as many other options out there. Can’t beat the price either. 4 tinder wicks for $16 and change. This allowed me to add 1 to my fire kit with the others going into the glovebox’s of my vehicles. Not a bad item to have on hand for emergency or survival situations. As far as function these things light right up with a strike or two from your ferro rod! Well done REHTAEL!

This wick goes extreme well with their firestarter. They should combine these 2 items for purchase because it just makes it so easy to catch the wick on fire and then use that for your actual fire. In all honesty I am not using this for survival or camping but I am using it to start up my charcoal grill by lighting up some diy wax starters and this wick makes that so easy. By the way I’m using this, I feel like this would last me a lifetime. It’s also good to know that if I do ever go camping or in a need of a fire this wick along with their firestarter would definitely work. Also, I ended up using this on the 4th of July for fireworks and it worked great. I would definitely recommend this wick

I bought these on a whim because I like the idea. When I receive them I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. The diameter of the twine is at least a quarter inch and they are thoroughly soaked with paraffin. The length of the twine is much longer than the competitors. I would definitely buy these again.

Clever, compact design that lights with the first spark from your ferro rod. Easy to extinguish after using by retracting the rope back into the provided aluminum rod. With forty inches of hemp wick, I’m sure this will last me 2-3 years of camping. Highly recommended!
