Why did you pick this product vs others?: Fun little magnet trick game. Play for who has the best aim or the best trick shot. The firing mechanism shoots piece that is magnetic and is attached to another magnetic piece. A good deal. A fun game for all ages.

Toys like this Magshuto deserve higher ratings—but let’s be honest, today’s kids aren’t used to using their imaginations. From birth, they’re surrounded by screens, school, activities, church—you name it. A simple toy like this would’ve been a neighborhood favorite in my day. We would’ve lined up to take turns! But modern kids seem to think: “My brain needs more input, not output.” And that’s exactly why we need to put more toys like this in their hands. As for the toy itself, it comes with:• One magnetic base with three foldout legs• One rubber band-powered shooter• Three magnetic projectiles• A small set of trick shot and instruction cardsIt encourages creativity, hand-eye coordination, and self-motivated play. Kids are even encouraged to invent their own trick shots! The packaging is uniquely triangular and colorful—likely designed to appeal to middle childhood boys, but it’s great for both boys and girls. For around $10, it’s a solid, imagination-boosting toy that helps kids explore what’s inside themselves instead of just absorbing what’s outside.I looked at the red and green shooters as well since it said “collect them all” on the back of the package, but I could find no difference in how they work, just the color and design is different. BUT there are a couple of larger sets if you search for magshuto.

My 12 old played with it for the first couple days and then quickly lost interest. He said it was fun and trick shot challenges weren’t too hard.

I’ve had the Fat Brain Toys Magshuto Mag-Kit Series 1 (Quick Circuit) for just under a week, and it’s been a blast—literally. The magnetic trick-shot system is simple to set up but surprisingly engaging. You load one of the Mag-Pods into the launcher, pull back, and fire at the magnetic target. It’s not just about aim—it’s about creativity, timing, and a bit of physics magic. The included challenge cards are a great starting point, but the real fun kicks in when you start inventing your own stunts. The magnets are strong enough to catch the discs from different angles, and the whole setup encourages problem-solving and hand-eye coordination without feeling like a “learning toy.”It’s compact, easy to store, and feels durable enough for regular play. Whether you’re a kid or just a kid-at-heart, this one’s got enough replay value to keep you coming back for “just one more shot.” I thought I had more photos too but I didn't.

My older kids had fun with this and I was happy it was a screen free activity. It’s kind of difficult to aim but that’s the fin of it. You do need some hard floor space or a table top to get some distance going. The cards give you some different ideas of what to do but it is an open ended play toy. Would make a fun stocking stuffer! I do think that as it contains magnets it’s not for little ones

My son has the red set of the Magshuto series and wanted to add to the collection. He hoped with a new shooter would come more challenges. However, the same challenges are presented in both the red set and this "yellow" set. The yellow set is also more of a neon green than yellow...in case anyone's kid had their heart set on getting yellow. IMO this might be beneficial if you have the larger challenge set that give you more to do, but just purchasing the single shooters, isn't going to give your kid much variety to explore with.

The only thing slicker than the expanded area surface needed to make this toy/game work is the advertising. Reality didn’t seem to hold up to expectations. With magnetic components, obviously not a toy you want around very small children who still put things in their mouths. Game set includes launcher, target stand, 3 mag-pod pucks, and six (6) challenge cards.I hope you found my comments and photo of benefit in your considerations. Thanks for checking in!
