Tested along side OEM antenna and radio and could not receive the same signals at squelch 1 that the same radio with OEM AE could receive at squelch 5.

We had several antennas the were old and beginning to crack at the base. These replaced them perfectly and we’ve had no issues.

This fit my old Icom handheld radio perfectly - the little red plastic trim at the tip fell off, but its not an important part of the antenna, it's just for appearances. The radio works fine now, bearing in mind the limitations of a handheld radio for communicating over longer distances.
