This FABAO security safe is like a dependable but slightly frustrating friend. It does the job, but sometimes makes you work for it.The Good Stuff:🔒 Sturdy, durable, and secure—it’s not Fort Knox, but it’ll keep your valuables safe from snoops and sticky fingers.🔥 Comes with a fireproof & waterproof bag—because life happens.🛠 Easy to set up your code—once you actually find the buttons. More on that later.📦 Decent size (1.2 cubic feet)—fits documents, cash, jewelry, and whatever else you need to stash.⚖ Not too heavy—you can move it yourself, but a thief would look ridiculous trying to run off with it.The Not-So-Great:🪵 Flimsy shelf brackets—made of something that wishes it was metal. They need support from the piece below them, and I wouldn’t bet on them surviving too much readjustment.🧐 Programming the safe is an adventure—the buttons are tucked away on the back of the door, meaning you have to contort yourself like a circus act just to set it up.🔎 Hidden… maybe too well?—it’s easy to stash in an alcove, closet, or some other secret spot, but if you forget where you put it… well, good luck.Final Verdict?This is a solid, no-frills safe that gets the job done, despite some questionable design choices. Once you finally set up the keypad, it’s easy to use, hard to steal, and keeps your stuff secure. Just be gentle with those shelves, and maybe do some stretches before programming it.

Just recieved today and pulled it out of not 1 but 3 boxes and pulled off the Styrofoam, and the door locks are just hanging in the door. Doesn't even work with the batteries in it? Locks don't move. It would be the perfect safe that i needed if it actually worked!

This safe is just what you need for peace of mind. It's easy to set up your code, and the bag inside keeps things safe from water and fire. The shelf lets you organize your stuff, and it's a good size for home or office use. Easy to conceal in an alcove or where ever I hid it away.

@nd one i have owned. First one was smaller, but during move lost key, so got this one as replacement. I like it better because of not only having the key, it has a small power supply to plug in when the batteries wear out. So you not stuck if you lose the keys and the battery died.

For the price of this small safe, I thought it would be a beast of a unit but, it’s fairly lightweight and made of pretty thin materials both in and out.It has good electronics and does lock well so it would probably be okay for a few small items you rarely ever have to get to. I just wouldn’t trust our expensive jewelry or other items in it, especially during a fire or flood.I suppose I had too high of expectations so because of the overall thin and flimsy materials, I can’t give it my recommendation.
