Using to keep m, lipo4 batteries warm. Work great. 1st bought the Luxbyrd brand but the quit 2 weeks in. No problem with these after several months of use.

This is a heat mat all right. WAY too much heat. It easily reaches 100°F which is WAY, WAY hotter than necessary. And this is sitting on an open weave metal shelf in my shed with plenty of air circulation. When I tried using it enclosed in the bottom of a seed tray, it went OVER 100°F. Useless to me. Beware.

Great product for the novice gardener as myself. Does what I need it to do no problem! Yes a temperature control could be very useful, however, it has vastly improved my germination time for some of my seeds(depending on variety.) Just be sure to unplug this mat once your seedlings have sprouted and root growth begins to mature or it can harm your process.

I've never used a heat mad to start my seeds before and decided to try it out this year. Wow quite the difference! Definitely noticed that my seeds germinated quicker using these mats. These were a really good price for the quality too. Excited to keep starting my seeds for the upcoming garden season!

This heat mat works perfectly for seedlings in trays. I use it with a hood and works great.
