Functionality:It does not work. It is dangerous because to clean it you have to handle the blades which are very sharp.

Awful! The lid on this is terrible. It will not close or open properly. I knew I should have gotten the more expensive one. Don’t waste your time.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I ordered this to grind flax seeds. It does not work because the blades don't even touch this size seed. I was so excited to find something that could sit on my counter. I had looked to see if anyone else had tried this on flax seeds, but there was no indication that it would not work. I'm disappointed. It would be nice if the product description could specify that this would not work for flax seeds. Otherwise, it seems like a great item for herbs, etc., although I've not tried that yet.
