This item saved me a bunch of money!! I'm a 72yr old lady and it took me all of about 10 minutes to replace the struts on my H2 HUMMER. Now my rear door opens and closes just like the day it came from the factory. Old struts popped out and these new ones just popped in. Tip: pop out and in the one closest to the vehicle first.

1. Prop up the hatch with a stiff ~6' board for support. It's very heavy.2. Pry the old clips loose with a screwdriver.3. Remove the old struts.4. Pop the new struts on with your fist or rubber mallet.5. Done. Very easy to put onNow I only need to open the hatch about two feet. The struts will raise the hatch the rest of the way by themselves. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Purchased February 2, 2019. Received Feb 7 and installed. Struts failed June 22, 2019 - just 20 days beyond the 4 month period where return shipping is covered. Reached out to company and received email indicating I can either 1) send back at my own expense and wait for them to be repaired and sent back OR 2) purchase new ones at 10% off. Neither is worth the effort - and will be trying a new brand.
