Proved easy, but ordering both 5/16 and 3/8 line kits I noticed difficulty pushing 5/16 nylon hose over the quick connect flanges was because they're too wide. As measurements/pictures show, the flanged male end of both sizes of the quick connects is the same! The female ends are different. The other 5/16 connectors in the kit worked with 5/16 hose. I was able to salvage the old connector, couple, and finish. No probs w/the 3/8 kit. I used a flaring tool, blistered some 5/16 hose with a heat gun, and it still would not fit it over the 5/16 female barbs. Your welcome ;)

Had a very hard time stretching the end of the tube onto the adapters! Should have option for the proper tools....
