This box arrived with a dime sized dent in the edge of the lid. I could live with that until I had a look at the gasket. The gasket installed in this is strictly for theater. It serves no purpose. It fits tightly in the front and is cinched down with the latches giving a tight feeling. The problem is that it does not engage at the hinge side. You can slip a piece of paper between the lid and the bottom of the box with the lid closed and latched near the hinge side of the box.I understand that this isn't a waterproof box, but it should at least resist a few drops of rain and it definitely will NOT do that.Don't waste your money on this product.
