This patch didnt work at all for me, and I did have to cut it to make it work for the pants I was applying it to.Not sure if it was just very old and sitting in it original packaging, but it would not stick at all, and I followed all the instructions. I probably cannot return it at this point, due to having to cut to fit

Convert ripped clothing into a fashion statement. Striking contrast stands out to show Rugged individuality rather than throwing out perfectly good clothing. Show off your good sense!

My job is HVAC technician. I work on a lot of electrical panels that require me to bend down. I wear the knees out prematurely on my jeans so I bought these two get more life from my work pants.

I like that it matched my black khakis pants exactly. I thought I followed the ironing instructions fully online, but it still peeled off after a couple of washes. I was kind of disappointed. I might try again in the future after I research more on ironing techniques for patches.

Durable material, the glue just gave up quickly. Be good in a pinch but not permanent.

I’ve gave these to our dry cleaner t to use to make a repair. She ruined and stitched. They are cute on a pair of camo pants we didn’t want to get rid of.

I had a rip on a pair of camo pants. I was able to cut a long strip of the patch material and I had to use the iron on very hot temperature but (the adhesive sticks like nothing I've ever seen. I definitely recommend anybody interested to buy this product.) Attention. I must retract that last part of the statement that I have in brackets. It's been a few weeks now and the patches have already peeled off on the edges. I'm not happy with this product at all now.

I needed a hard-wearing patch for my dads trousers and this beats any other I've been able to find.My dad has a below knee prosthetic and all his jeans and trousers wear out on the front where it rubs against the knee area. Attaching these easy patches inside the front of the leg at the crucial level saves his trousers. He is really happy with the result. They wash well, no fraying and although hard-wearing the fabric isn't bulky so it doesnt get caught on the prosthetic. As they come from outside the UK there is an extended delivery period but boy they are worth it.

I bought my first pair of Carharts 20 years ago. I was in high school. All the kids were wearing them back then. They unfold like a cardboard box the first day you try them on, but slowly they wear in, mold to your body, and wither away. I've worn them a couple thousand times, and busted holes through the knees and upper legs from work, camping, rucking around in the woods. As the years went on, I was convinced that one day I'd go to put them on, and brrrrrrrip, tear right through the leg like Kleenex. Sure, I could always buy another pair. But that's not the point, guy. So I made the sad choice of folding their now delicate fabric into a tiny rectangle, and sticking the bundle up on my closet shelf. They sat there about three years, until the other day when my wife said, "HEY, let's do some spring cleaning." Which in our house means, "HEY, how about you throw some of your stuff in a box, and I'll stick it out on the street for people to look at?" Sure enough she went for my closet, and eyed the Carharts. "You don't wear those anymore," she said and wrapped her thrifty little fingers around their throat. I begged her to let me try them on one last time. Please baby, please! Reluctantly she handed them over, and they unfurled to the ground. I stepped in, and they hugged my body like a cast. I was back in high school, and those memories came flooding in all over again. "Well we can't get rid of those!" she said with wide eyes. I just looked too damn good. So we desperately searched for options to keep them on life support. That's when we came across the Dritz 55245-9AC patches on the Amazon. The heavy canvas stone was a perfect fabric and color match for my Carharts, and the 5x5-inch cut was perfect to cover all my wears and tears. Now the patches don't come with any instructions, so I had to do some thinking of my own to make it work. This involved an iron, a needle and thread, and some scissors. Perhaps there was some whiskey involved as well. The point is, I was able to patch my Carharts up again, and reinforce not only a nostalgic pair of jeans (that were moments from being shipped off to the big pants farm up north), but patch together a wife's love for her husband (and his body). I'll be purchasing more patches to make these last another 20 years!

Very good quality. Please be aware that you cannot use these patches on some materials as they require hot iron to attach them.

I bought this to repair a hole in my carhartt jacket. It matches the color and material really well. I used both patches at once. The hole was through my pocket so I ironed one inside and the other one on the outside. So far so good.Update : So after a year I wore through the patch. Obviously I'm hard on my coat though so I'm happy. So I got another set to get by another year. I can't knock the patch, I need a new coat.
