They are also pre-formed to fit specific vehicles for easier installation. This part is compatible with the following vehicles. They folded the lines in half which made the mechanic lose his mind. Shipping that long and thin is a problem so if they could be folded around a round object it may have helped.

Top 1/2" fuel line female connector doesn't fit at all onto the existing fuel rail line that it is suppose to hook to, the sending unit lines don't come with either. It's been a week now and I haven't gotten any further than the 1st 1/4 of the section's 1/2" line. Now I need to find the original guts from gm, which don't exist by itself, cause these lines are not built to GM specs.

Like other reviews, the 1/2" feed line fitting would not connect at engine, too small. Wouldn't connect on any of the 1/2" male lines removed. Had to use rubber hose and quick connect barbs on hand to replace feed line to tank. The 3/8" return lines and fittings were fine. None of the hangers for trans and engine were in right spots, had to break them open and relocate. Should have just spent money on hose and fittings, these 1/2" lines and fittings were junk.

This review is for a Dorman SS fuel line kit that should have fit my 2004 GMC Sierra 2500HD. It's a diesel so it has 2 fuel lines, a supply and a return.I went with Dorman as I had purchased a SS brake line kit and was impressed. The brake line kit fit well and was actually a complete replacement kit. However, not the case with the Dorman SS fuel lines. And the fuel line kit was twice the price of the brake line kit. The fitment of the fuel lines is terrible and I couldn't even use the bracket that attaches the lines to the transmission bell housing. The connections at the top of the engine were barely able to be made due to poor fitment and I'm still concerned that the stress on the lines because of this could lead to early failure. This is not a complete fuel line kit either. It does not include the pigtails that come off the sending unit on top of the fuel tank and also does not include SS nipples that attach the fuel lines to the fuel cooler, I had to purchase them seperately from JEGS. As often is the case, people usually replace all fuel and brake lines due to deterioration and/or failure that frequesntly occurs with a GM vehicle. So Dorman, don't call it a replacement kit if it doesn't include ALL parts of the fuel lines, it's misleading.I only gave 2 stars because the fuel lines are still functioning after 1 year without leaks, but I'm skeptical about the longevity.I can't recommend this product and am quite disappointed with Dorman about their fuel lines.

Don’t spend the money, these absolutely do not fit at the engine, there is no way to properly install these, absolutely terribly engineered product

Bought these products and had the lines on my truck for 2 months, then the quick connect connections failed spraying diesel fuel across my truck. Spent an additional $200 for replacing the section that failed, yet to be reimbursed or given any compensation for the failed parts. Do not buy.

hated it. spend the money and get nicer ones. I ended up having so many issues with these I might as well have had the old rusty ones.

Good price and being in section make it easier to install but it is still a hard job
