This is a nice quick fix for the gap that I have to the door that leads to the basement. I wanted to prevent the cold from coming in. I did not have much hope since I tried many different types of stoppers but this one is very easy to attach and works. I am not sure how long it will last but I am hopeful. You get 32 feet so even if I have to cut a new strip, that is fine.

Used it to provide privacy in a room that has barn style door, was exactly what I needed it for and looks good with and added quarter round to hold it in place. The adhesive strip was almost useless but after brad nailing quarter round through it it's good to go.

With this product, you get lots of length. 32 feet! So you can basically seal every door in your house that doesn't come all the way to the ground. We always have problems with doors hanging too high and cold air coming in, so I know this will be marvelous. I love that instructions were included, but will try putting it on this weekend. The gist is, measure and cut first, then clean and adhere. Pretty good advice, and I'm sure it will work great, but have been too busy working to do all the steps alone. Hubby is also off this weekend, so we'll make it one of our house DIY's. I'll report back in if it doesn't work, but as for right now, pretty impressed that it's given me proper steps so I don't mess it up. Otherwise, I would have just taken the whole roll to the unclean door and tried to stick it on, which would have lead to failure. They've obviously thought it thought on the manufacturing end, which gives me great confidence in its ability to work. Just wish it were in a darker color to match my doors better.

This amazingly powerful under door draft stopper exceeded my expectations. Provided in shipment you will find an abundantly ample supply of the product... according to manufacturer's dimensions:***Length... 32 feet (9.8m)***Width...... 1.98inches (50 mm)***Thickness... 3/32in. (2mm)***Seal Gap...... 1.2in. (30mm)***Backing film...0.78in (20mm)FCSOTSPS Brand product also provides a one-page reference guide for this multiuse draft stopper. The install process is simple and easy. For me, less than five minutes was required to adhere a 6inch strip along the bottom section of kitchen cabinets. This four-step process was accomplished by:a) measuringb) cuttingc) cleaning and drying surfaced) peel of backing film affix to surfaceIn addition, its noteworthy to mention that after cutting desired lengths, I used a hair blow dryer to apply heat to the glue strip. This heating method loosened the thick material which in turn provided superb sticking power to the wood surface. I found after that step was completed, the product was easier to affix to the bottom exposed section. As a word of caution...*(Please take note that the "on line product description" mentions how this product is not recommended for some surfaces)*In order to ensure accuracy ofproducts, I did allow 48 hours of the application to determine if the product remained intact. So far, it's great to realize, after nearly three days the product is still holding firmly in place.Thanks to extra strong bonding of this quality made product, the gaps and crevices near the bottom of my kitchen cabinets have been insulated.
