Room Space/HF Trim

HF Trim：This switch allows boost or attenuation of high frequency output by 2dB. Select the setting that provides the desired high frequency response for the application.
Studio Monitor Isolation Pads Pair

Volume
Sets the volume level of TRS inputs, RCA inputs, Aux input, Bluetooth input, and Headphone Output. When set to the 12-o’clock position the speaker is optimized for a nominal input level of 0dB. Recommends to set up the volume at 0dB in order to get the flat and correct sound.
Room Space
Setting the switch to the 0dB position produces a flat frequency response. The -2dB setting attenuates the range below 400 Hz by 2dB, and the -4dB setting attenuates the range below 400 Hz by -4dB.
HF Trim
Setting the switch to the 0dB position produces a flat frequency response. The +2dB setting boosts the range above 2kHz by 2dB, while the -2dB setting attenuates the range above 2kHz by -2dB.

As a sound designer working out of my bedroom, I needed small but flat monitors to monitor my mixes. The thing I like the best about these speakers are the price and the look. It was surprisingly difficult to find a pair of small white monitors at this price but I'm glad I found these! They sound great and super simple to set up. The BT feature is a great add-on as well. My measurements were not nearly scientific but based on a phone app, you can see my frequency response test in the graph above. From out of the box, these are somewhat flat especially in the bass with some pretty heavy fall off in the highs after 1000Hz. Overall I am happy and I will be excited to edit and watch content on them!

passive speaker didn't work, had to return as defective. When I received the package, I thought it looked a bit rough but the items inside didn't look damaged. When I boxed up the return, I noticed the return label from the previous customer on the outside of the box. I guess they just taped up the defective garbage, dropped it in another outer box, and sold it to me. Very disappointed. At least the return process went well. But I'll be buying another brand from another seller.

These speakers have a very nice balance of sound, cleanly reproducing highs, midrange, and lows without boomy bass or tinny high frequencies. At maximum volume they didn't seem to distort much at all.The variety of connection methods makes them very useful. Unfortunately I was only able to connect two of 4 devices that I tried via Bluetooth. My newer Dell laptop (first try) and my Galaxy S10e phone (finally connected after several attempts) were successful, but my older Galaxy S7 phone, and a bit older laptop couldn't find the speakers when I tried to pair them. I don't think distance wasn't the issue, since they were around a foot away, and the speaker's Bluetooth switch was definitely on. Fortunately I was able to connect the devices with the 1/8" stereo plug to RCA cable and got nice sound output. This cable is pretty short, though, a bit less than 5 feet.Another issue I found was that the speakers have no grill over the speaker cones, so they must be handled carefully to avoid damaging the cones. For speaker placement, the instructions suggest to put the back and the side of the speakers no closer than 1.5 meters from the closest wall. I found this to be impossible because my office desk is right up against one of the walls in my office. In spite of having the speakers only a couple of inches from the wall, they still sounded pretty good. There are 2 switches on the back of one of the speakers to adjust for less than ideal conditions if desired, as well as the Bluetooth on/off switch, a volume control knob, and a speaker on/off switch. The instructions don't tell how to use the included polyurethane foam isolation pads or the thin closed cell pads with pressure sensitive adhesive. I guess they assumed it would be obvious, but I prefer to have things explicit in the manual. My assumptions are, if desired, the thin closed cell foam pads can be stuck to the bottom of the speakers to prevent the speakers from sliding around or scratching a desk or shelf surface. The isolation pads keep the bottom of the speakers from buzzing as they vibrate against the surface of whatever they are sitting on. My overall perception is that these are good, but not great, speakers for various devices.

Habe diese schicken Monitore in einem Angebot günstig kaufen dürfen und bin sehr zufrieden. Sie sehen gut aus und fügen sich perfekt in mein weißes setup ein. Die Tonqualität ist für mein Empfinden wirklich gut, würde mich aber auch nicht als Experten bezeichnen. Es klingt aber alles sehr fein und detailliert, und überhaupt nicht blechern und klapprig wie man es von vielen billigen Boxen kennt. Ich betreibe die Lautsprecher zusammen mit einem Subwoofer über die interne Soundkarte meines PCs und kann sie bisher uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Die schlechten Bewertungen kann ich überhaupt nicht verstehen, natürlich haben diese Boxen keinen Bass. Das ist auch nicht ihre Aufgabe, es sind Monitore die zusammen mit einem Subwoofer betrieben werden sollten. Der Frequenzbereich steht auch in der Artikelbeschreibung, wenn man sich gar nicht auskennt kann es aber natürlich überraschend sein dass kein Bass dabei ist.

Ha llegado perfectamente empaquetado. Muy fácil de instalar y configurar el Bluetooth. Viene hasta con los soportes de espuma para la vibraciones. Por poner una pegua, el volúmen está detrás del altavoz principal.

I've been working with music for about 10 years now and I have used a lot of different monitors for my mixings. I bought these monitors recently because they look very cool. Once I tested the sound, I do not recommend them for music mixing and/or mastering. However, they are bluetooth, so if you are looking for something just to listen to music to these are great! They have a fair price and I think they sound good.
