So let me start by saying its rubber gasket is not the same as original. Original has double groves as mentioned by couple of reviewers. So it did leak for me as well, so I used a silicone sealant. And tighten the nut using the socket wrench not regular wrench. This will definitely not leak and it worked for me. Water is heating up as before. I have LDS5540st. Hope it stays working for another few years.

Kept getting a HE code on my LG dishwasher model LDF6920ST. After watching YouTube videos most said bad heating element. But my washer wasn’t draining all the water either (OE code) so we changed this and the drain pump (part # 4681EA2002H purchased on here as well ) while we had the washer opened. Now the washer is working.

Installed ok, and did not leak. But my dishwasher still has a blinking HE error. Likely a control board. Getting new dishwasher.
