Upon initial opening of this disco light, I must admit that I wasn't very impressed. It was a little smaller than I expected, and wasn't true disc balls, after reading the description. Once I installed, I must admit that dynamite can come in small packages. This has a variety of patterns, and options and it is super bright. The remote makes it truly versatile from dance music, EDM, to holiday music, to county line dancing. This little disco light is sure to please. I look forward to many fun get togethers with this in our party pack. Don't let its small size discourage you, it really is an amazing little party light.

I was genuinely impressed with how much energy these Disco Ball Party Lights brought to our party! I have other party/disco lights, but this by far is my favorite. The lights are colorful and bright, and there are several modes to choose from. It's really cool and adds to the fun!

This light/laser assembly is awesome but you need to be careful with it because of the laser effects.It automatically goes through several patterns of lights and lasers mixing them up as they go.You can adjust most everything using the remote. It works just at as expected.You can mount it in such a way it’s easy to remove or you can string it up and hang it than way.It’s super powerful too. I got it to light up my backyard and some of my neighbors while trying to minimize how bright it is. So I think it’s safe to say it will cover a large area.I took some pics but they don’t do the effects justice.Only thing is I worry about setting up and using the light. Especially if people go to look at it or turn it on and unknowingly take a laser to the eye like I did. So be careful and consider the lasers if you decide to get one and use it.

I really expected more from this but there are some hazards that are worth mentioning. This light definitely emits lasers and it has a very rudimentary sticker indicating this. If you weren’t more cautious you or your child might stare right into the laser and damage your eyes. I’m not sure I would mount it “low” or at a low ceiling height to minimize risk from staring into the lasers. The lasers project animated kaleidoscopic shapes on the central part opposite of where you place it. So the higher you mount it the bigger and more space the laser projection takes up.The light comes with a mount that consists of a ring that you screw into your surface and then the light attaches to the ring. Like I mentioned previously I think a higher ceiling mount is the way to go but like 10 ft ceilings are probably ok.Given the need to screw this into your ceiling I’m not sure how useful this is for your average person having a party. Like I don’t see who would keep a disco light attached to their ceiling at all times but maybe that’s you. The moving colors are just ok IMO like they don’t really give me the same feeling as a classic disco ball with the mirrored light. It feels more like you’re in a disco aquarium.
